February 13th is Get a Different Name Day

Create a memorable title for yourself. One of my business cards says I’m the “Chief Goddess” a name my staff gave me many years ago. It is amazing how many comments I get from that card. In fact, many women I know were inspired to change their “titles” after seeing my card. One of my friends, Teresa now calls herself “The Queen Caterer” and tells me her clients love it!

How effectively are you using YOUR NAME to market your business? Think about Cher, Oprah and Rachel Rae, three household names. When you develop a solid reputation, your name has market value. Use it over and over in all your marketing. Is it time to turn your small businesses into an empire? After all, when you sell your business, you still have your name which you can use again to build another empire!
