February 23rd is Little Lulu Day.  Little Lulu is a cartoon creation of Marjorie Henderson Buell. Starting out as a single-panel cartoon in the Saturday Evening Post February 23, 1935 it quickly became popular among people of that generation and the Post continued to be feature the character weekly through 1945. Then during 1945 Western Publishing Company Little Lulu debuted in comic books, coloring and activity books, records, games, puzzles, dolls and sewing cards.
