May 31st is Memorial Day
(U.S.) ~ honor those who have served (observed on May 28th) Hand out flags to everyone you meet – everywhere you go. Put 2 small flags in a bag or envelop and a thank you note asking the recipient to keep one and give one away to someone who has served their country and/or in honor of Memorial Day.
