November 1-7th is World Communication Week

communications around the globeYesterday began  World Communication Week (November 1-7th) ~ Time to “step up” your communications in business. If you have not recently created  a viral marketing campaign now is the perfect time to do so.  I suggest you film a YouTube Video different from those you have done in the past. For instance if you generally send educational videos, why not do one about the people behind your success. You could interview staff members, managers, even customers. Create one question that everyone could answer and put the answers on video together to showcase the talent you have in your company.

Sole proprietor? Then share something about yourself. Answer the following questions: Why did you go into business? What were your goals when you started? Who are your ideal customers? What do you like about your profession. These all make for interesting viewing and get people to know you better.
Once created, upload to YouTube and share with your customers, clients, friends, vendors and lists.  Post to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter (and other social networks). Who knows it may even go viral!  Add a link to your video in your ezine or weekly email communications.  Put a link in your signature file.  Embed the video on your blog and website. Invite your audience to send your message to their circle.  Give them an incentive for doing so, such as a discount or FREE gift.
Then tell me how it went! Lots of people read Quirky Marketing Calendar so feel free to include a link to your video in our comments.

Today is also:
All Souls Day
Cookie Monster Day
