And who has bigger shoes to fill? If someone were to ask you what company comes to mind when you think of shoes, what would you reply? Did you reply, Zappos? Probably… Since Zappos is now the largest online retailer of shoes (and now other products) that is likely to be most people’s answer.
So in honor of Shoe Size Day, I found an interesting video to share.
In a nutshell, their strategy is to achieve higher conversion rates by giving people a visual description of their products online. Zappos produces short to the point, videos for all of their products, presented by actual staff members who talk about the products as they show them off.
Online video marketing is now one of the fastest growing online marketing strategies for people who do business on the web.
