To gain the inside advantage in your marketplace, it’s time to come out of your shell and start speaking! Find opportunities to speak before groups that can hire you. Speaking is an excellent way to gain credibility and visibility. Rotary clubs, Kiwanis clubs, Lions clubs and Chambers of Commerce meetings are good places to start. Speak about something you are passionate about and that directly relates to your business. Provide everyone with a take home (handouts) that includes your contact information so your audience can contact you later.
