Today is Hot Air Balloon Day

On February 21st in 1995 American Businessman and Aviator Steve Fossett set a world record when he became the first person to fly solo across the Pacific Ocean in a balloon, taking off from South Korea, and landing in Leader, Saskatchewan, Canada.

“A fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Explorers Club, Fossett set 116 records in five different sports, 60 of which still stood as of June 2007.” (source: Wikipedia).

What world records could you set? Not into setting world records? How about advertising your business on a Hot Air Balloon? Or taking people for a hot air balloon ride? Or hosting a hot air balloon race in your community?

If you’ve got the “hot air” balloon, anything’s possible.

Today is also Backward Mile Day. In 1983, Donald Davis ran a mile backwards in just 6 minutes and 7.1 seconds setting yet another record.

If your business could use a “boost” or a kick in the pants try one of these ideas.
